disorders. This includes narcolepsy, sleep apnea, and shift work sleep disorder. This medicine

Uses
Modafinil 200mg is an anti-narcoleptic agent used to improve wakefulness in patients with narcolepsy (sudden uncontrollable attacks of daytime sleepiness).
How to take this medication
Take Modafinil 200mg in the morning unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Modafinil 200mg may be taken on an empty stomach or with food.
Side effects
Side effects that may occur while taking Modafinil 200mg include back pain, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, nausea, nervousness, stomach upset, stuffy nose, or trouble sleeping.
Precautions
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with Modafinil 200mg. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking.
Drug interactions
INFORM YOUR DOCTOR if you have a history of alcohol or other substance abuse, suicidal thoughts or actions, or other mood or mental problems (eg, depression, mania, psychosis). USE OF Modafinil 200mg IS NOT RECOMMENDED if you have a history of developing a rash after taking Modafinil 200mg
Notes
If your symptoms do not improve or if they become worse, check with your doctor.
Miss dose
Do not double the dose to catch up, if you forgot to take.
Storage
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30
degrees C) away from light and moisture. Keep this and all
medications out of the reach of children.
